![]() ![]() ![]() Yet on BOTH computers when I click the only available Acrobat icon (named simply "Adobe Acrobat"), I got what MAY in fact be Adobe Acrobat - and in fact it calls itself Adobe Acrobat on the old PC whcn I open it. What appears in the Windows 11 Apps list says Adobe Acrobat (no Reader there), and Program Files says Acrobat DC (there's no Acrobat folder yet in Program Files (x86) and may never be). The icon on the desktop of that new computer simply says 'Adobe Acrobat'. exe file I was told to click on said that,and I chose to make it my default in a window that said it was Acrobat Reater. I figured: "Okay, on this brand new computer I can ask for Acrobat Reader, and that's what I'll get, then I can ask right away for that to be my default." All seemed to go according to plan: It said it was downloading Acrobat Reader, the. It so happens that at the same time, I just bought a new, faster computer that I'm setting up. ![]()
